I make no apologies for making further mention of the Lightning Tree. It fascinates me, especially when bathed in the pink light of sunset. For just five or ten minutes it bursts into a variety of glorious colours before returning to comparatively dull normality after sundown. I've painted it once and I have a feeling I shall be painting it again. Trouble is, with only a ten minute window of opportunity (when it's sunny that is - and winter's coming!), it's going to be some challenge.

Glad it's not just me that finds it interesting. Looking at this photo, it's a bit like an upside-down octopus.

Now that you mention it yes. But at first look I saw that creature that has the snakes coming out of her head. Of course that could be my twisted mind also

I can see why you are fascinated by it. Quite beautiful.
Forgot to mention in my last comment how neat and clean your garage looks, or is it your living room?

The tree is indeed very beautiful. Ah, you noticed the front room. Actually, it's the lounge. But I call it the indoor shed. The outdoor shed is, er..., outdoors. Don't have a garage but maybe one day. The living room is upstairs and is really a bedroom. All rather confusing. Having loaded up this header pic, I'm now having second thoughts. Might swap it for something a little more attractive.

I rather like it. It expresses an alternative way of being, which is always good

Yes, somebody else mentioned this. Apparently it was a childrens' TV programme back in the '70s. Have to admit I have no knowledge of this at all.
