When me old mate Dick (or 'Deek' as he's known around these parts) came to stay last week, he brought along his newish SLR digital camera and various lenses. Seemed to snap anything that moved. And quite a few things that didn't. Emailed me a few of his faves. Must say they're rather impressive, though some aren't exactly flattering.

That's the very word I was looking for this morning!!! Swatter! I think my mind is in such a state that it can't function. It's my age!
Heaven help all those poor kids next week!

Interesting pics - all of 'em that is, not just Deek's.
I'm mystified by the last pic. That of your good self on the laptop.
Just above your eye level on the opposite wall there seems to be a gnawed hole with daylight appearing, partly covered by newspaper cuttings.
Can't wait for the story!-

Trick of the light, me old fruit. Is in fact the telly screen being reflected in the shiny surface of a dog kennel business card which I Sellotaped to the wall. Whenever the dogs misbehave I simply point to it and they immediately shut up.

Nice to see you have the same ideas on interior design as us! That casual 'strewn about' look is so hard to achieve, but with practice it gets easier.

It's a darned good job I tidied up before Deek arrived. I'd hate anyone to think I'm anything other than houseproud.

That new profile pic seems to have caught you unawares. Did you just step out from a vat of formaldehyde?
