Weird. Finished this bloggeau a couple of months ago but people still appear to be visiting. According to the counter thingy, even more than before. Not complaining though. Just a bit surprised. And, of course, a tad curious. Who are y'all? And why no comments? This is all very strange.

Yes, it's a thought. This is a very friendly type of blogsite. However, the thought of those two uninvited sniping saddos intruding into my little world and seeing what I'm up to puts the mockers on continuing my story here. Anyway, after making a big song and dance about chucking it in, I'd look stupid if I came back again. Well, more stupid than usual.

Hazarding a guess, I would say your visitors may be web crawlers or bots trawling your pages (and mine) for URLs, email addresses or for later analysis and faster access by search engines. It would certainly explain why no comments are left !

I have occasionally marvelled at the number of pages of my blog suddenly accessed in a day. At first it seemed like some psychopathic soul had set my blog as required reading for homework by a sullen class of 15 year olds ! But no, I do not really think that anyone could be that pointlessly cruel.

Welcome back anyway .. if only briefly !

Wotcha Slim. Don't quite understand your opening sentence but I presume it has something to do with all these damned emails I get about Viagra, bigger willys, fake Rolexes, cheap computer software and various other waste of space messages I get inundated with every single day. It's a bloody nightmare. Anyway, yes, that could explain the on-going number of visitors. Thanks for the info. Have a big slice of lardy cake on me.

Hi Si!

Will certainly give you a ring when I next visit the cesspit. However, no plans afoot in that direction for the forseeable future. Shall email you my new blog address where my incredibly enthralling, monstrously riveting and hugely exciting (er, pardon?) tale continues.

How's the KTM?

Regards,
G

It's funny how things go around
But go around they do
This place is empty, empty
So empty without you

Wotcha Debs. What a very touching sentiment - you smooth talking charmer you. So which Glimmer Twins song is that quote from? Cannae say I recognise it. Hope you're extremely well and still checking out my autre bloggeau... just added a few more snaps.

Well, hello there. It's a thought. But I'm now rather settled in at my new blogsite where I can witter away anonymously without the intrusion of those two mentally deranged saddos. Really is a huge relief knowing that they're not looking in. For that reason I'm naturally reluctant to put myself back in their firing line despite discovering (alas, too late) the means to edit their bird-brained comments. However, I don't get many visitors and hardly any comments at my new blogsite which shouldn't really bother me but, strangely, it does - I still get far more here even though I chucked it in ages ago. Anyway, extremely flattered by your ego-inflating message. Makes me feel rather special. But, sadly, I ain't.

Very kind of you to opine thus, Debs. Have an extremely nice day. Talking of which, weather appears to be improving slightly down here. Seems to have stopped raining and just spotted a glimpse of blue sky. Think I'll put my tools down and have a quick break. I'll get back to building this ark later.

Well, it's still ark weather here in 62. Even had a fire or two this week in the evenings. Hope it picks up by the 15th, we have arranged an Anglo-Française 20-20 cricket match!

I've had a fire or two too. Flaming June, huh! Hope it clears up for your cricket match. Are the Frogs partial to cucumber sarnies?
