Just been idling through some old photos I discovered quite by accident hidden away in this blog's thoroughly mystifying filing system (I've no idea how it all works). Found one taken when the removals lorry arrived the day after our escape from the cesspit (for a more detailed account of this episode, read the horrendous 'Allez... oops!' posting in the August '05 file listed on the right). Spent that first night in sleeping bags on bare floorboards, covered in dust and cobwebs. Have contrasted it with a photo taken fairly recently. I suppose it shows that some progress has been made, even though it doesn't always feel like it!
